SplitMe (a product by Outlay) is a software tool for tracking shared expenses and generating UPI payment links. SplitMe is not a bank, wallet, or payment aggregator. We simply provide the math to calculate who owes who, and generate standard UPI intent links to facilitate bank-to-bank transfers via established third-party applications.
Because SplitMe does not process or hold any funds, we are not responsible for any failed, pending, or incorrect transactions. All payments are executed by your bank and the third-party UPI app (e.g., GPay, PhonePe, Paytm) you select. Any disputes regarding payments must be taken up directly with your bank or the recipient.
You agree to use SplitMe only for lawful purposes. Generating fraudulent payment links, engaging in money laundering, or using SplitMe to facilitate illegal transactions is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.
