Do my friends need to download an app?

Not at all. That's the best part! You just share a link via WhatsApp or SMS. Your friends open the link in any browser, see what they owe, and tap to pay via their preferred UPI app (PhonePe, GPay, Paytm, etc.).

How is this different from Splitwise?

SplitMe is designed for instant settlement. Instead of just recording debts and leaving you to awkwardly ask for money later, we generate instant UPI payment links so you get paid back on the spot. Plus, there are no premium paywalls or ads.

Can I split uneven amounts or use percentages?
